There are many World Heritage sites in Budapest including the panorama at the Danube, the Buda Castle District, Andrássy Avenue, Heroes' Square, and the Millennium Underground Railway, which is the second oldest in the world, after London’s Tube. From tourism point of view the bridges of the Danube and the spas are also significant. Budapest has the largest number of spas in the world.
You can find here the world's largest thermal water- cave system, the largest synagogue in Europe (Dohány Street) and the Hungarian Parliament, which is the world's third largest Parliament building and the home of the Holy Crown. This is of course, just a few of the many sights of interest. Hungary is popular not only due to its the attractions, but also because of the gastronomy.

Only here you can taste real paprika, which is the base of many Hungarian dish, for example, the popular goulash soup, beef stew, chicken parikas, and fish soup. . However, not only Hungarian food is special, but there is a unique Hungarian drink called „Palinka” which is a hard spirit distilled from variety of fruits. The most common starting materials are ripe plum, pear, apple, apricot, cherry, grape, and strawberry, but virtually any Hungarian fruit can be used.
It important to mention the world wide known Unicum and the gourmet wine which is harvested in Hungary’s grape-growing regions and transformed with great care into something truly special . To a good lunch, you may try a refreshing spritzer (white wine and soda, or rose wine) or a local beer.
It is worth to mention the nightlife in Budapest. Budapest is full of young people and students, many of whom are foreigners. Going out is very popular because of affordable prices, accompanying with high-quality programs. Downtown Budapest offers all kinds of entertainment, for partying travelers every night.
